Find an Available Apartment
Visit www.unionrealestate.com and review current availability on each property’s main page.

Submit an Online Application
Once you’ve selected an apartment, complete the online rental application for each adult (18+) who will be living in the unit.

Pay the Application Fee
A $75 non-refundable application fee is required per applicant and must be paid at the time of submission.

Application Review
Union Real Estate will review your application, including credit and background screening.
Applicants must have a credit score of 670 or higher with a relatively unblemished background.
A follow-up email will be sent regarding the approval, denial, or next steps, if applicable.
- Renter Eligibility: Must be able to meet the required credit score. If you do not meet the required credit score you will need to get a guarantor that can meet the required score to be eligible to rent an apartment.
- Student Eligibility: If the student does not have a credit score there will be an option of paying an additional deposit which will be applied to the last months rent of current lease or acquire a guarantor with the required credit score. Students will need to provide proof of current schooling.
- Accepted documents for students:
- Student ID (Digital student IDs may be accepted)
- Enrollment letter or certification from your school’s Registrar
- Acceptance letter or email
- Current class schedule (Future semester schedule is also accepted)
- Transcript (official or unofficial) or student record
- Form I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status)
- F-1 Student Visa
- Unacceptable Student Documents:
- Expired IDS
- Certificates
- Degrees
- Enrollment Agreements

Guarantor (If Required)
If you do not meet the minimum credit requirements, you may apply with a guarantor, who must submit a separate application + application fee of $75 and meet the qualifying credit criteria of 670 or higher.

Approval & Next Steps
Upon full approval, you will be provided with leasing documents and a cover letter detailing move-in expenses, which will include the security deposit and the first month’s rent.

Sign the Lease & Prepare for Move-In
After all documents are signed and required payments are received, your move-in / key pick up date and time will be scheduled.
