Leasing Process Overview

Step 1. Submit application

The first step is to submit an application. The top of the application has instructions about what to submit along with your application (e.g., the security deposit, a copy of a driver's license or valid ID, etc). 

You can pay your application fees and security deposit online here.

Step 2. Application reviewed

Once we receive a completed application and application fee, we will run a background check (credit and criminal). Depending on the results of the background check, you may either be approved, approved with the stipulation that you need to have a guarantor sign the lease or pay an additional deposit upfront which will be applied to your last month's rent , or be rejected. 

Step 3. Sign lease

If you are approved and security deposit has been received, we will then send you the lease package for your signature. The lease package includes the lease and some state-mandated forms which must be signed. We also ask that you to make a payment for the first month's rent when you return the signed lease package. 

Step 4. Pick up keys and move-in

A few days before your lease is set to start, reach out to your Property Manager to make arrangements for picking up your keys and moving in. You will most likely pick up your keys from the maintenance person at your apartment building (not in the downtown office). If you are arriving after normal office hours we will make arrangements for getting you the keys.
